Parm & Alex
Super modern romance with draping, light, and clean lines
Some weddings feel like walking into a moodboard that finally came to life. Parrm and Alex’s day was exactly that. Sleek, modern, and impossibly intentional, every detail was designed to feel fresh and architectural, without ever losing the warmth of “we’re here to celebrate with our favourite people.”
For this wedding, our studio handled full design, floral, and decor rentals, including a custom backdrop moment and room draping that completely transformed the space.
Where it started
Like most of our weddings, this one started with a single image.
Parrm sent over a photo that stopped her in her tracks. Clean white backdrop, soft folds of fabric, a play of light and shadow that felt a little editorial and a little gallery-esque. She loved how simple it was, but also how powerful.
From that one inspiration image, we started to build a design language for the entire day. Words like “super modern,” “elevated,” and “soft but structured” kept popping up in our calls. They wanted a space that felt:
Minimal, but not cold
Romantic, without being frilly
Guest-focused, with easy flow and a clear focal point for the ceremony
The vendor team
This day came together with the help of a seriously talented vendor team. From the photography and video that captured every detail, to the DJ keeping the dance floor full, to the catering, stationery, hair and makeup, and venue staff who brought their A-game.
Our studio focused on design direction, decor rentals, and full floral production, working alongside:
A photo and video team who understood the clean, editorial feel
A planning and coordination team keeping the day moving smoothly
A venue and catering team who took care of timing, service, and guest comfort
Stationery by the bride, music, and beauty teams who carried the modern story into every layer of the day
The design vision
Our role was to connect the dots between that first inspiration photo and a full wedding experience.
We mapped out:
Custom draping to soften the room and frame the couple, without hiding the architecture of the venue
A clean backdrop installation that would ground both the ceremony and photo moments
Monochromatic florals with sculptural shapes, focusing on form, texture, and negative space
Curated decor rentals, from candles and vessels to statement pieces that kept everything cohesive from ceremony to reception
We worked closely with an incredible vendor team for photography, film, catering, stationery, music, and coordination so that the visual story, guest experience, and timeline all supported the same modern, minimal brief.
