Hotel X Toronto
A modern Toronto wedding at Hotel X, planned for a seamless transition from ceremony to celebration.
Hotel X is one of those venues that already brings so much to the table: clean architecture, incredible light, city views and a distinctly modern feel. It doesn’t need to be overworked. The key is thoughtful planning, strong timing and a team that can move everything smoothly between spaces without guests ever feeling the logistics happening behind the scenes.
For Jeslene and Andrew, Derêves supported the final planning and wedding-day execution from start to finish.

We love working at Hotel X because the venue lends itself so naturally to a modern wedding. The spaces already feel polished and architectural, so the goal isn’t necessarily to add more. It’s to make every choice feel intentional.
With events taking place across different areas of the hotel, the biggest consideration is movement: making sure vendors know where they need to be, guests transition effortlessly, florals and décor are relocated at exactly the right moment, and each room is ready before anyone walks into it.
For Jeslene and Andrew, that meant a carefully built timeline, clear layouts and a hands-on coordination team moving quietly in the background.
The result: a wedding that felt effortless, modern and beautifully considered — because all of the complicated parts were handled before the couple ever had to think about them.
