This relaxed and joy-filled summer wedding at The Broadview Hotel in Toronto was everything a modern couple could hope for: bold, personal, and effortlessly stylish. We provided full wedding planning, floral design, and decor styling for this celebration, which brought together vibrant colour, wild textures, and a strong focus on sustainability.

The day began with a heartfelt first look on The Tower rooftop. Overlooking the CN Tower and the downtown skyline, this moment gave the couple a quiet space to connect before the festivities began. It set the tone for a celebration that felt truly laid-back, natural, and full of ease.

We sourced Ontario-grown wildflowers from local farms, using varieties like cosmos, rudbeckia, lisianthus, snapdragons, scabiosa, and Queen Anne’s lace. The result was garden-inspired arrangements that felt freshly gathered and full of movement. Everything was designed with eco-conscious methods using foam-free mechanics and biodegradable materials, aligning with the couple’s values and our commitment to sustainable floral design.

The ceremony featured a custom floral arch layered with soft textures and rich colour. Indoors, the design still carried the feeling of an open field. It created a joyful, approachable atmosphere that felt warm and intimate.

Reception took place in Lincoln Hall, one of the Broadview’s most iconic spaces. We styled the room with colourful floral tablescapes, eclectic bud vases, beeswax taper candles, and a palette of ochre, coral, blush, and sage. Guests had the freedom to flow between the hall and the second-floor rooftop terrace, a perfect spot to step out for fresh air, conversation, or a quiet city view.

Every part of the day felt like an extension of the couple. There was no pressure, no pretense, just a thoughtful flow from one moment to the next. From the rooftop first look to the colourful reception and the warm, floral-filled atmosphere, this wedding was a perfect reflection of who they are together. It was easy, joyful, and beautifully rooted in intention.
